WASHINGTON CORRIDOR — Katharine Shilcutt of Houstonia suggests ordering Cafe Brussels' namesake burger. The $15 burger "features a fat, hand-formed patty covered in a thick cloak of Provolone cheese, resting on a bed of grilled onions and jalapeños." No burger would be complete without fries, luckily frites are this Sixth Ward Belgium restaurant's specialty. [Houstonia]

DOWNTOWN As Movember comes to a close, Moving Sidewalk is hosting a last effort attempt to raise money for prostrate cancer. The hot new cocktail bar is collaborating with Jameson Irish Whiskey and creating tasty cocktail with Jameson Black Barrel from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will support Prostate Cancer Foundation. UPPER KIRBY — Black Friday will be known as Tamale Friday as Arnaldo Richards of Picos debuts his tamale stand in front of his restaurant (3601 Kirby). Several tamale selections will be available for $2.95 each from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The stand will open every weekend leading up to Christmas. [Eaterwire]
