Ronnie Killen has been dropping hints left and right about the location for his latest concept, a burger place named Killen's Burger. Seeking a location in Pearland between his eponymously named steakhouse and barbecue restaurant, he teased his social media followers with a picture of an abandoned Exxon gas station on the market that fit the bill.
Finally, last Friday, Killen officially let the cat out of the bag — in what was probably one of the worst-kept secrets ever— and shared the following message to his barbecue followers on Facebook:
Todd Whistler of Architrave Construction & Design has been tapped for the restaurant's build-out at 2401 South Main Street. Once opened, burgers made from brisket and short ribs, plus hand-spun milkshakes are expected to be on the menu.
