MIDTOWN/DOWNTOWN -  Craving Peruvian food but there's none to be found in Midtown? For one night only, you'll find it at Glitter Karaoke. An incubator for up-and-coming chefs, notable chefs around town collaborate with the bar for pop-ups. Tomorrow, Roberto Castre of Latin Bites will be in the house, along with his sous chefs, Alejandro Betancourt and Masaru Fukuda at 8 p.m.,  serving up good food and good times. Once you've started the weekend off right with Castre, leave room on the schedule for November 9th. Fluff Bake Bar and The Flying Saucer Downtown will collaborate for a hoppy brunch. Four dishes paired with beer for $30. The two hour brew-filled brunch starts at noon. [Houstonia]
