The mystery surrounding the murder of recently hired Nino's manager, Joe Angel Ramos could soon be solved. Over the weekend, two men were taken into custody by Los Angeles Police Department in connection to the killing of the Montrose restaurant manager.  According to ABC13 Eyewitness News, Carlos Martinez and Taylor Coyledean both in their early 20's — "...were spotted in Ramos' vehicle.. [and] attempted to evade police on foot but were captured." A motive for the murder is still unknown, but at least this latest update brings closure to those who knew Ramos.

Ramos' weighed down body was found in a Willow Waterhole Greenway Park retention pond late November, days after his employers received a text stating the restaurant manager was going to a funeral in Dallas. Friends and patrons of Nino's, now-closed LaStrada and Arcodoro restaurants where Ramos worked took to Ramos' Facebook page to express their sadness. CultureMap notes a memorial service will take place at Bering Memorial United Methodist Church on December 6 at 11 a.m. "Afterwards, mourners are invited to celebrate Ramos's life at Tony Mandola's."
