WASHINGTON CORRIDOR ⸺  Julep is gifting bourbon lovers with an early holiday present: more happy hour. The highly acclaimed bourbon bar has extended its 30 cocktails for half-off promotion into December. Stroll in for a specially priced cocktail from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily. DOWNTOWN Working Downtown just got a little sweeter with the recently rolled out lunch options at Prohibition Supperclub & Bar. In addition to the lunch menu, the old-school Hollywood restaurant is dishing out daily specials from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: shrimp and grits (Mondays), smoked fried chicken (Tuesdays), meatloaf (Wednesday), po boy (Thursday) and burger (Friday). In time for the holidays, Killen's Barbecue introduces brisket tamales. The Pearland smokehouse hasn't released additional details but a sneak peek picture is worth a thousand drools.
