Proving that dreams can come true with hard work and perseverance, chef Kevin Naderi graces the front page of Houston Chronicle's Memorial community newspaper. The 28-year-old Houston native graduated from Memorial High School where his passion for the culinary arts grew from a home economics class. Naderi later honed his craft at Art Institute of Houston's Culinary Arts, eventually becoming Randy Evan's sous chef at Haven. The profile piece goes on to highlight Naderi's accomplishments at his well-received restaurants in Montrose (Roost) and Shady Acres (Lillo & Ella).
