BLVD Place is upping the ante on West Ave to become Houston's trendiest place to shop and dine. RDG + Bar Annie and Table on Post Oak round out dining options in phase one, and in phase two, recently opened True Food Kitchen and Whole Foods Market's in-store restaurant concepts and brewery. And more is on the way in 2015.
Italian restaurant North (a concept from the group behind True Food Kitchen, Fox Restaurant Concepts) and Peska Seafood Culture are two highly-anticipated coming to the Galleria mixed-use development, along with Sozo Sushi. Steven Stone, a retail leasing a development consultant with KM Realty, put the restaurant on our radar in October in his weekly restaurant round-up, but not much was known about the concept until today. CultureMap revealed details about Sozo Sushi, the restaurant from Bill Hou, owner of the local Shogun Grill & Sushi Bar chains and Taisho in Sugar Land Town Square. "Whereas both Shogun and Taisho feature hibachi and sushi, Sozo will offer a more sushi-centric menu," adds the online publication.
With Chris Kinjo no longer involved with MF Sushi in the Galleria, the area could use a higher end sushi restaurant. Whether Sozo Sushi will fit that bill remains to be seen for now.
