A Tex-Mex institution was the victim of a burglary the night before New Year's Eve. A few hours ago, The Original Ninfa's on Navigation broke the news of the robbery on Facebook:
It's not known if there was any interior damage to the restaurant or what was taken, but the Houston Police Department are investigating. There may not have been extensive damage because Ninfa's will fire up the grill to serve its legendary fajitas at 3 p.m.
Update (12/31/2014 at 4:12 p.m.) : Local news station KTRK reports thieves broke into The Original Ninfa's on Navigation through an opening in the wall. A substantial amount of money was stolen from the safe.
