Chef Philippe Schmit has been busy ever since departing from his eponymous and now-defunct Philippe Restaurant + Lounge—which is expected to reopen as TABLE in March. Kris Bistro and the Le Notre School will host the "French Cowboy" for a series of pop-up dinners where Schmit will showcase some new dishes (perhaps as a preview to his new project?). The first of these is on Thursday, March 13 at 6:30 pm. where Schmit will host a cocktail reception before the 7 p.m., five-course foie gras dinner with optional wine pairing.
