Several Houston chefs are headed to Austin for the Austin Food & Wine Festival, which just announced its schedule today. Hugo's/Caracol's Hugo Ortega, Oxheart's Justin Yu, Underbelly's Chris Shepherd, Sparrow Bar + Cookshop's Monica Pope, Uchi's Philip Speer and The Pass & Provisions' Terrence Gallivan and Seth Siegel-Gardner are slated to participate this year. Shepherd and Pope will take part in the popular Rock Your Taco event, where they will compete with chefs from all over the country and be judged by Graham Elliot, Christina Grdovic and Andrew Zimmern.

Now in its third year, the annual food lovers gathering will be April 25 through 27, and tickets are still available in packages "Taste" ($250), "Savor" ($850) and the travel versions of each for those visiting Austin. Eater Austin has the full release with more details here.
