As if Fluff Bake Bar , Common Bond (coming this April) and FM 903 (coming this fall) weren't exciting enough: Add one more baked goods mecca to the mix. CultureMap's Eric Sandler confirms rumors that Pondicheri chef/owner Anita Jaisinghani will be adding a bakery just above her West Ave. Indian restaurant. She says that she has already signed a lease for the 3,200-square-foot space just upstairs, and that she hopes to have it operating by this summer. Jaisinghani, who also owns Montrose restaurant Indika, has earned rave reviews for her spicy breakfast dishes—Garden & Gun's John T. Edge said that "Jaisinghani and her crew reinvent breakfast by filtering Texas ingredients through an Indian prism"—but her sweet treats are also a major draw. Her blueberry, pistachio and lemon Pista Scone and sweet-meets-savory masala cookies are must-try items, so it will be curious to see how she expands on those offerings later this year.
