The Woodlands' thriving dining scene will continue to grow with Restaurant Row, a block of 12 establishments that will open in Hughes Landing on Lake Woodlands. An announcement made this morning stated that River Oaks pub Local Pour will be expanding with a second location in that in-progress development, and that it will be essentially the same but with a lakefront view. Local Pour's new location will come courtesy of its parent company HUSA, an ownership group that recently replaced its Heights-area D'Amicos with City Oven, another establishment from its portfolio. (D'Amicos re-emerged in Katy shortly after closing on White Oak.) Joining Local Pour will be about eleven other eateries — including Tex-Mex spot Escalantes — a Whole Foods, an upscale hotel and a fitness center. That neighborhood's food scene has been steadily improving with Fielding's Wood Grill, Atsumi, Morton's Grille and other well-received dining establishments that have opened in the last several months.
