RIVER OAKS— The Soter Vineyards Wine Dinner will be held at 60 Degrees Mastercrafted March 24 beginning at 6 p.m. with a pre-dinner reception. Soter winemaker James Cahill will be on hand with five wines to complement the five-course meal crafted by Certified Master Chef Fritz Gitschner. Everything from a pepper-crusted Akaushi ribeye to a smoked salmon panna cotta and caviar will be on the menu. It should be a fun dinner, since that restaurant's esteemed sommelier Vanessa Treviño Boyd tells Eater that "James is a really interesting and great guy, very charismatic & full of life and energy." Call 713-360-7757 or email here to make reservations. [Eaterwire]
