PIE WIRE— Since tomorrow (March 14) is Pi Day, Three Brothers Bakery will be holding a Twitter contest where every hour, beginning at 7:30 a.m. until 3:14 p.m., they will give away one pie per hour on the 14-minute mark. For a chance to win, follow the bakery on Twitter and retweet the promotion. Those who prefer can stop into a Three Brothers for an individual slices priced at $3.14 each, tomorrow only. [Eaterwire]

BOOK DEALS— Earlier we mentioned that Robb Walsh would remain at Houstonia, but that he would continue writing cookbooks. Here, Eater National shares some more details on a chili cookbook that's in the works. There's still no word on a release date, but the book will contain chili recipes from different regions and diverse traditions. [EN]

CRAWFISH SEASON— The Houston Press shares its top ten places to head for mudbugs this year. On the list is the Woodrows in the Heights, where "crawfish are $7.75 a pound, but during peak season the price should go down to the regular $5.99 per pound." [HP]
