Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen might be known for its enchiladas — and for that one that time Jennifer Lopez racked up a $450 bill there — but owner Sylvia Casares wants to show that she can cook other Mexican dishes, too. The enchilada queen is set to open her third Houston location, named Sylvia's, on Eldridge (see map at right) sometime in late May. There, she'll dedicate a whole portion of the menu to mesquite wood-fire entrées, quail and sea bass in addition to her signature dish. "Everyone knows we are famous for our enchiladas," Casares said in a statement. "I want them to look at the rest of my menu." The new location will look just like the Woodway spot, but will be at the center of the Energy Corridor. The almost-5,000 space will seat approximately 150 diners, in addition to a 25-seat private room and 50-seat wrap-around patio.
