Two-time, James Beard Award-winner chef Bradley Ogden's Bradley's Fine Diner was slated to open March 15 with a fundraiser for the Recipe for Success Foundation, but that's been postponed indefinitely. When signage was being installed strip center space — which also houses his casual restaurant Funky Chicken — a water line burst, and now the parking lot will have to be dug up. "I can't cook without water," executive chef Bryan Odgen (chef Bradley's son) said in a statement.
That ninety-seat space will soon become the nicer, dressier lounge-meets-upscale diner in his local portfolio. It is the second of three local establishments Bradley Ogden Hospitality will be opening in Houston. The next place will be Ogden Pour Society opening in CityCentre later this spring.
