Dallas Easterly Out at TABLE on Post Oak

Now-defunct French restaurant Philippe on Post Oak saw a number of radical changes before permanently closing to rebrand and reopen as TABLE on Post Oak. After Philippe Schmit left his namesake establishment, famed sommelier Vanessa Trevino Boyd departed to join the team at 60 Degrees Mastercrafted and the menu was completely re-written to cater to a more American palate. Now we've learned that general manager Dallas Easterly already left that restaurant as of Wednesday.

An Eater tipster alerted us of the change, and an employee at the restaurant confirmed that the popular front-of-the-house name—and former Disney executive, interestingly enough—has left. Easterly worked at that space since the Philippe days, joining that team in 2010 2013. No word on where he's headed next or who will take over as general manager at TABLE. We've yet to reach Easterly for comment, but will update if he contacts us. In the meantime, on a more promising note for the in-flux eatery, esteemed chef Manuel Pucha remains at that Post Oak spot.
