Verts River Oaks Grand Opening; Pop-Up at Paulie's

RIVER OAKSTomorrow (April 26) is the grand opening for Houston's second Verts location, setting up shop in River Oaks. It will open at 1572 W. Gray. They will be offering one free entrée per person from 11 a.m to 8 p.m. on Saturday. Live music and a raffle to win free Verts kebaps for a year will round out the opening day event. [Eaterwire]

THIRD COAST DINNER— On April 30, chef Randy Rucker will host a multi-course dinner that spotlights Third Coast cuisine. While the location remains undisclosed, we do know that the cost to attend this BYOB dinner is $65 per person. As for the menu, it won't be published "until the actual day of the event. However, you can count on the menu being studded with lots of cultivated, wild & indigenous products that help provide a connection between the guests & their surroundings."
