After a fire shut down popular sushi restaurant MF Sushi in September of last year, the place is finally set to make its return next week. The Houston Press's Mai Pham reports that after a number of city- and construction-related delays, chef/owner Chris Kinjo says that they "will re-open to the public this coming Wednesday, May 7, 2014." Kinjo also tells Pham that for "the past three weeks" he's "been working from 8 a.m. to midnight" to get the place back in business.
Get ready to head back for another memorable omakase meal soon. Pham writes that "MF Sushi will re-open on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, serving lunch 11:30 a.m to 2 p.m, and dinner from 5:30 p.m to 10:30 p.m. The restaurant will begin accepting reservations starting tomorrow."
