Where Are Houston's Best Sandwiches?

Summer picnics and beach-time coolers call for portable dishes. So, for this week's Friday open thread, we want to know: Where are Houston's best sandwiches? And although prosciutto and manchego in bread is infinitely better than ordinary ham and cheese, we welcome even the most modest suggestions as long as they're good. Especially considering that some of Houston's most satisfying sandwiches include tortas from taquerias and Cheese Whiz-topped cheesesteaks from casual joints.
