Balvenie Tasting at Reserve 101; Mother's Day Dinner

DOWNTOWN— Tonight (May 6) is the Balvenie Whisky tasting at downtown bar Reserve 101 beginning at 6:30 p.m. hosted by brand ambassador Jonathan Wingo. They will be featuring The Balvenie 12-year, 14-year, 17-year and 21-year. More info here. [Eaterwire]

MONTROSE— Former Revival Market chef de cuisine Adam Dorris is joining the group of food friends banding together to help local baker Jody Stevens rebuild after a devastating fire took her home last week. Dorris will be hosting a four-course Mother's Day feast prepared and served on site at Plant it Forward's Montrose farm on the University of St. Thomas campus. All proceeds from event will go directly to Stevens. The dinner will be May 11 at 5:30 p.m. with a complimentary beverage selection provided by Glass Wall and Brooklyn Athletic Club's Shepard Ross.
