Even those who didn't attend the pre-Free Press Summer Fest music-meets-food experience last summer likely heard about it. Last Summer Fest kicked off with the first Official FPSF Preview Breakfast that included Houston rapper Bun B performing his hits while a four-course meal from Uchi pastry chef Philip Speer made the rounds to a small group of guests. This year, Bun B and Speer will be back with a five-course meal, and they will be joined by Dan the Automator of The Gorillaz and Deltron3030 and Hell's Kitchen's Ja'Nel Witt. Captain Foxheart's Bad News Bar & Spirit Lodge's Justin Burrow will be on hand with craft cocktails paired to three of the courses. This year's breakfast will be on May 31, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased here.
