Keeping their word to stay busy in Texas, Clark Cooper Concepts founders Charles Clark and Grant Cooper aren't pausing to enjoy the success of recently opened Coppa Osteria and Punk's Simple Southern Food in Rice Village, or their established restaurants Ibiza, Coppa Ristorante and Brasserie 19. According to Shelby Hodge, the duo is now expected to open The Dunlavy, an event space and eatery at Allen Parkway and Dunlavy set to debut next summer. Hodge writes that this project will be a collaboration with Buffalo Bayou Partnership, and that the 4,000-square-foot space will seat 150 diners. While there isn't much info on what the concept will be, their website has a small collage of images that might offer a glimpse into what they're planning.
Joining the famed restaurateurs will be their director of operations, Marc Cantu, whom the pair poached from Mario Batali's hospitality group. Even with this massive project in the works, Clark and Cooper are also developing September's coffee truck Mobile Mug, as well as an expansion to the Woodlands.
