With oyster season in full swing, restaurants across Houston area are serving more of the briny ocean gems in various ways. Joanna O'Leary of Houston Pres takes a look at the fried oyster po'boy and other offerings at Rice Village's southern-themed restaurant, Punk's Simple Southern Food. O'Leary recommends the broiled oysters with lemon garlic butter where "it readily spills over from the half-shells when you raise them to slurp the oyster and Punk's thoughtfully include a toasted half-baguette to sop up the extra juices"
