Oak Forest residents will have to wait a little longer for tamales and fish tacos from Berryhill Baja Grill and Cantina. The much-delayed restaurant at 1201 West 43rd finally set an opening for Wednesday, January 21, but due to permitting issues with the city, the date has been pushed back to Wednesday, January 28. Owned by franchisees Park and Sylvia Blair (who also own the Berryhill location in the Heights), the latest outpost seats 180 inside and includes an outdoor palapa bar, perfect for sipping margaritas during Houston's warm weather. There’s also room for future expansion with an additional patio area.
