Construction is moving forward at Bernadine's and Hunky Dory. Much progress has been made on the adjoining Treadsack owned concepts since last month. Frame work for the restaurants appear to be near completion. Although the area is still a construction zone, both concepts are beginning to take shape and on track to open this quarter.
The arrival of both restaurants can't come soon enough. Hunky Dory, the British tavern under the direction of Richard Knight, has landed on several national publication's list of restaurants to look out for and the surprise announcement of Bernadine's, chef Graham Laborde's love letter to the Gulf Coast has drawn lots of buzz online and off. The steady and reassuring progress is a sign that good food is right around the corner, even that corner is still a few months away.
