Texas Monthly Proclaims Caracol Best New Restaurant in the Entire State

Chef Hugo Ortega and wife/restauranteur Tracy Vaught are kicking off the new year with one of the state's highest honors, best new restaurant in the Lone Star state by Texas Monthly. Patricia Sharpe released the magazine's annual list of Where to Eat Now 2015, which includes the year's most noteworthy new restaurants, including Ortega's Caracol in the number one slot. Also making the cut at fourth place, Shepard Ross' Pax Americana where Adam Dorris continues to shine and impress and Ryan Pera and Morgan Weber's Coltivare at number eight. BCN Taste & Tradition received a honorable mention for its contemporary takes on Spanish classics.
