When Dosi closed, it was reported that Jay Asher was going to consult for Delicious Concepts Restaurant Group's Witchcraft Tavern in the Heights. It seems that the doors have closed on Witchcraft and the team under Asher's leadership will rise from the ashes as Republic Diner + Sojubang.
Sojubang's are essentially Korean pubs, so think more bar food and bites than traditional family-style plates. Asher's menu will be feature Korean bbq, sizzling rice hot pots, Korean twice fried chicken, and of course regular and infused soju to drink up.
Delicious Concepts CEO Ken Bridge stated, "I'm excited to finally launch this amazing concept and look forward to continuing to serve the community". Bridge stated that the concept has been nearly 6 years in the works.
Republic Diner + Sojubang will be open for both lunch and dinner and will officially open its doors on Thursday October 22nd, for now keep up with them here.
