The Del was rumored to open at the beginning of the summer, only to be pushed back to late July or early August, and then heads were scratching when that didn't happen either.
The doors have finally opened for the latest restaurant from the Studewood Hospitality Group, the team behind Brooklyn Athletic Club and Glass Wall. Nestled in an old Hartz Fried Chicken shop between the Briargrove, Memorial and Tanglewood neighborhoods, the location boasts expansive outdoor green space and plenty of wood deck patios. Like it's sibling, BAC, The Del will feature outdoor games and ping pong tables as well as typical flat screen televisions.
Expect American backyard classics like a grilled ribeye steak, lobster wedge salad, potato gnocchi with ale fondue and a pretzel cheeseburger from executive chef Albert Vasquez .
Open now at 6565 Del Monte Avenue, more info here.
