MEMORIAL - Owner Genevieve Guy announces that after several months of tedious visa negotiations and jumping through hoops, chef Cedric Vernin has finally arrived as the executive chef of Bistro Provence. His arrival adds both innovation and tradition to the 17-year-old restaurant.
Chef Vernin started his professional training in 2009 at the prestigious CFA François Rabelais in Dardilly and from 2009 until 2011 he studied at CFA Pierre Dufour in Mably, France. After earning his certification as a chef, he went to work for a small inn located in Bessenay, France, and then as the pastry chef at a 17th-Century castle in the south of France, Château de L'Hoste in Saint Beauzeil.
As if almost to celebrate his arrival, Bistro Provence and chef Vermin are announcing the menu for the 2015 Beaujolais Nouveau Dinner to be held Thursday, November 19 at 7 P.M. Make reservations now and sample the new chef's efforts to celebrate the French first wine harvest holiday.
