Starting Thursday, October 29 UberEATS will deliver food prepared by some of the top local chefs and eateries in town. The concept is to get hungry customers their meals in just ten minutes or less, which sounds like a very lofty goal given the Houston traffic at times. One part of the strategy to make it work is by using a GPS to qualify customers with pre-made meals by local spots in their proximity. Per usual Uber fashion, UberEATS transactions all happen safely and securely on the app.
The good news is the menus will change often if not daily, and will be priced from $8-12. For its Houston launch, UberEATS has partnered with Coltivare, Triniti, Tout Suite, Eight Row Flint, Pondicheri, Common Bond, Jackson Street BBQ, and Mala Sichuan.
