Owners of Beirut, the Lebanese restaurant on busy Washington Ave began a transformation of the space in an effort to reemerge as Fig & Wasp. It appears that the new restaurant will offer a more modern take on Mediterranean cuisine, although menus and opening dates are unclear at this point.
For now, the restaurant's Facebook page offers a glimpse into the test kitchen research including fresh salads, quinua-topped oysters, ceviches and more. Have a look for yourself and stay tuned as we await more news and grand opening dates.
