Blacksmith Opens a New Patio, Just In Time for Patio Season

Blacksmith, located in the heart of the Montrose area has just opened a second patio along Westheimer Road with outdoor seating and umbrellas. This is well-timed since the temperatures in Houston are finally dropping for reasonable patio weather if not only because their original side-flanking patio often fills up before breakfast.

The wood and steel design seems to be an extension of the interior with sleek simple lines throughout. David Bueher and John Letoto should be proud that they've managed to maintain the integrity of the iconic Montrose building, which many native Houstonians may remember as Mary's, a landmark bar for the LGBT Houston community which the Chronicle recently remembered.
