Thursday October 8: Ment'or Young Chef Competition at Pass & Provisions. From 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. enjoy some of Pass & Provision's signature dishes, paried with wines from Spire Collection, while watching four young cooks compete in front of host Jérôme Bocuse, and Chef Judges Terrence Gallivan, Chris Hastings, James Kent, Paul Qui, Anne Quatrano, Seth Siegel Gardner and Ming Tsai. Thursday October 8: Schramsberg 50th Anniversary Wine Dinner at TABLE. At 6:30 P.M. attend a very exclusive Schramsberg wine dinner with special guest, owner and winemaker, Hugh Davies in honor of their 50th anniversary. Reservations here.
Sunday October 11: Underbelly Hosts Southern Smoke BBQ Cookoff. Hosted by Chris Shepherd and joined by BBQ legends Aaron Franklin, Sean Brock and Rodney Scott, expect nothing short of an extraordinary day of BBQ and fun in the sun to raise money to fight multiple sclerosis. Thursday October 22: American Lung Association presents Savor Houston Masquerade Ball. This exciting event will be held at Nouveau Antique Art Bar from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. to raise money for lung research, education and community programs. Participating restaurants include Tony's, Brennan's of Houston, Rainbow Lodge, Benjy's, KUU, Coppa, and others.
