Houston's own David Buehrer of Blacksmith and Greenway Coffee has teamed up on another collaboration, this time with MALK another Houston-based but family-owned organic plant-based milk company.
Robin Berwick of Double Trouble introduced them, and they decided to collaborate on a pecan milk/cold brew drink that will run exclusively in the Texas area. David sourced a fair trade organic coffee from Chiapas, Mexico that he tasted together with the folks from MALK and decided had the most complimentary flavors to the pecan milk and molasses. David helped them design the brew ratio and roast profile to make the best possible example of this product type they could. David believes it's one of the first Cold Pressure Pasteurized products on the market in this sector, which preserves the integrity of the coffee's flavor.
You can grab a bottle right now at exclusive appearances at Whole Foods throughout the Southwest (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, & Louisiana) and all Central Market locations mid-November and soon Natural Grocers in Texas.
