December 1st
Benjy's Rice Village Turns 20
2424 Dunstan Rd.
Benjy's turns 20 years old in December, and they're planning a 1995-themed throwback celebration from December 1 - 15 to commemorate the occasion. Here's what they've got planned: Dishes from the restaurant's original menu at 1995 prices, specialty cocktails named after 1995 movies, an all-'90's themed playlist and the staff dressed up in '90's attire, including fanny packs instead of aprons. Since they recently renovated the interior and introduced a new seafood- and vegetable-centric dinner menu (along with launching brunch seven days a week earlier this year), it's a great time to stop in to party.

December 6th
Hotel Derek's Flick & Float Event
2525 W Loop S Fwy
Revolve Kitchen and Hotel Derek's Flick & Float is taking a festive spin this December with a classic feature showing of "A Christmas Story" on December 6 at 5 P.M. Bring your favorite cozy blanket and enjoy Hotel Derek's spiced hot cocoa and homemade Christmas cookies. This event costs $25 per person (includes self-parking and holiday treats mentioned above). Make sure to dress warmly as this event will take place by the pool. This is an intimate affair, so RSVP early to ladyderek@destinationhotels.com
