After several opening date push backs, the Burger Joint has kicked open it's doors today. As previously reported, Shawn Bermudez and Matthew Pak have taken on the task of reinventing the old Little Bigs space at the corner of Westheimer and Montrose into a burger concept which delivers a steadfast and consistent menu focused on three things: Burgers, beer and milkshakes.
Changes to the old space include moving the counter space to enlarge the kitchen and keg storage area. The patio has been overhauled as well and adds more space, and plenty of umbrellas and TV's. The idea is to create an environment that's accessible and a destination to socialize and hang out - burger or not. They deliver a slew of 24 draft beers including local favorites from 8th Wonder, Lone Pint, Karbach and St. Arnold.
Of course the burgers are the focus here with quality beef form local Angus ranchers 44 Farms. Add to the roster five kinds of fries (including sweet potato, bacon parm) and a milkshake selection that's out of this world.
Stop by now while the patio weather is in our favor.
