Earlier this year a child scratched interior walls at Cuchara and caused over $1500 in damage. The restaurant has taken action. Diners are given essentially an instruction card asking parents to manage their little ones.
"How do we stop that kind of thing?" Ana Beaven told KHOU. "We're busy serving and cleaning and moving around and we cannot babysit a child. It doesn't offend anyone, it's a set of rules." Beaven said.
In Cuchara's defense, the restaurant is adorned with art which is hand-made and costly to replace. What are your thoughts?
