Baybrook Mall in Friendswood has opened the doors on the country's newest Yard House on Saturday, December 5. With 130 beers on tap - nearly 30 of them Texas-brewed - the new Yard House will open for lunch, dinner and late-night dining seven days a week.
The new restaurant with spans more than 11,000 square feet with seating for about 350 guests both inside and on the patio. There are another three-dozen seats encircling the restaurant's signature island bar. The spacious floor plan, which is lofty and open, will have an industrial vibe with a mix of warm woods and stainless steel accents as well as an original collection of thought-provoking art by California artist Jerome Gastaldi.
It's been six years since Yard House first came to Houston in the CityCenter. Known for its menu of American favorites, crafted cocktails and endless fleet of tap handles featuring the best American craft beers and imports, including several handles reserved for brewers from the Greater Houston and Gulf Coast area.
