Food purveyor D'Artagnan is planting roots in Houston. Known on the East Coast and among chefs for its organic and humanely-raised meats, foie gras, wild game, charcuterie and truffles, the company is increasing its presence by adding a warehouse in the Bayou City. To celebrate the move, D'Artagnan has partnered with Ben McPherson of Prohibition Supperclub & Bar for a one-night only affair Tuesday, February 10.
Joining McPherson in what's sure to be a culinary adventure are four of Houston's top chefs: Ryan Hildebrand of Triniti Restaurant, John Gross of Uchi Houston, Ryan Savoie of Saint Arnold Brewing Company and Mark Cox of Mark’s American Cuisine. Each chef will prepare a course featuring foie gras, venison, pork and a host of varied D'Artagnan gems. Tickets to the dinner will set you back $125 but feel good in knowing your money is going towards a great cause. 60 percent of the proceeds will benefit Houston Food Bank.
