Book your last meal (or two) while there's still time and Bistro des Amis. The cozy French bistro will say au revoir at the end of the month, reports CultureMap. After seven years of serving classic French fare, owners Odile de Maindreville and Bernard Cuillier are handing the reigns over for another restaurant to take its place.
Opening in Bistro des Amis place, Sud Italia Ristorante. With 25 years of restaurant experience, owner Shanon Scott, former general manager at Arturo Italiano Uptown, is ready to step out on his own. Scott will offer Southern Italian cuisine, with a menu that will focus less on heavier dishes usually associated with Italian food and include seafood. Sud Italia Ristorante is expected to open in Mid-April.
