The Just August Project, a month-long pop-up restaurant that took the city by storm in 2010, is returning. Justin Yu of Oxheart, Seth Siegel-Gardner and Terrence Gallivan of The Pass & Provision are uniting once again to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the event, according to Houston Chronicle.
Beginning August 3, the 2015 James Beard Best Chef semi-finalists will host a limited engagement pop-up at their respective restaurants. Sielgel-Gardner and Gallivan kicks things off with three dinners at The Pass on August 3, 4, and 5. Yu takes the last leg with hosting duties at Oxheart August 6, 7 and 8. The eight-course dinners alone are $88. Tact on an additional $66 to include beverage pairings. Reservations for each dinner must be made to the participating restaurants. A portion of the proceeds will support a local charity.
