Here's Where Just Falafel and Piada Will Be Located

While Houston patiently awaits for The Halal Guys' arrival (and location sites), another upcoming Middle Eastern chain has revealed where it'll open in the city. United Arab Emirates-based Just Falafel will open its first location at 500 Dallas Street. Located within downtown's One Allen Center, the fast causal restaurant offers customized falafel wraps and sandwiches, alongside Mediterranean and Middle Eastern sides. Just Falafel is expected to open this spring.

Further up the Mediterranean coast, an Italian concept from Ohio. Piada Italian Street Food confirmed its expansion into Houston in January but Houston Chronicle has the scoop as to where it will be located. The fast casual restaurant specializing in hand-rolled piadas — "thin-crust bread baked on a stone grill, then filled with grilled items such as vegetables, sausage or chicken along with other sauces and toppings" — is one of several new tenants that will occupy the newly constructed Park Place Memorial center on Memorial Drive. Other dishes on the menu include pasta bowls and chopped salads. Joining Piada is Houston-based sushi eatery Express Rolls and Dunkin' Donuts.
