The new project by the team behind MAX's Wine Dive and The Tasting Room opens to the public today. Replacing the space last occupied by Arturo’s Uptown Italiano, Lasco Enterprises completely transformed the inside in three weeks into the sultry and chic restaurant Añejo.
The restaurant's elevated Tex-Mex theme extends outside the menu and into the sleek new digs. Palates of black and red and walls throughout with bold crystal chandeliers illuminating the dining areas. A longhorn skull greets guests through the entrance of the bar area, where walls are draped in black and gold Mexican sugar skulls wallpaper. Decorative tin foil adorn the bar, cloaking the hand-painted mural preceding it. Dark wood floors accent the crimson colored booths. Wooden blinds provide privacy to guests in the semi-private dining room located toward the back. Peruse the dinner menu and take a look inside via the above gallery.
