Cullen's Changes Name, Adds On to Growing Whiskey Roster

More changes to come.

Cullen's American Grille and Whisk(e)y Bar

The ever-evolving Cullen's Upscale American Grille is a Clear Lake staple for fine dining, but its expanding whiskey collection continues to garner much attention. Boasting 500 different labels from around the world approximately, the restaurant's impressive roster includes American whiskeys from eleven states, in addition to international brands from Scotland, Ireland, France, Tasmania, India, and Japan. Reflecting its growing focus on the spirit, Cullen's has decided to change its name.

Now named Cullen’s American Grille and Whisk(e)y Bar, owner Kevin Munz and general manager Ryan Roberts wants to keep the momentum going. “Ryan has done an impeccable job putting this collection together and people all over the country are taking notice," says Munz in a statement, also noting "distillers and distributers are bringing their premium stock to us because they consider ours to be one of the finest whiskey bars in America.” Guests are encouraged to challenge the bar and ask for any scotch or bourbon that comes to mind. Chances are Cullen's offers it but if not, Roberts will track the label. Additional changes to come include plans to enlarge the bar and increase seating.
