Foreign Correspondents Inches Closer to Opening This Spring

Progress at Treadsack's Thai restaurant Foreign Correspondents is coming right along. In fact, so much so, the restaurant group is preparing for a late spring premiere. Construction began last Saturday, March 28 at 4721 N. Main, one of several new upscale tenants opening within Braun Enterprises' revitalized multi-use retail center, The Heights Place. In a newsletter emailed earlier today, Treadsack shares "the construction is much more straightforward than the new buildings at 18th and Shepherd (Bernadine's and Hunky Dory), and we anticipate roughly 90 days for building."

PJ Stoops will helm the kitchen at Foreign Correspondents. The farm-to-table Thai restaurant will showcase locally sourced ingredients cooked with traditional Thai herbs. Foreign Correspondents is expected to open by late May.
