Rebecca Masson's brick-and-mortar Fluff Bake Bar is well on its way to opening soon, according to a recently released picture from the pastry chef's Facebook page. Masson shared a picture showing the progress of her soon-to-open bake shop:
Still under construction a few doors down from Azuma's Izakaya, the biggest portion of the work has been completed: the floors. The rest of the construction should be smooth sailing from here on out, with Masson and company looking to open this spring.
Fluff Bake Bar's upcoming stand-alone restaurant was 25% funded through a Kickstarter initiative last year. In addition to sweet treats like cakes and cookies, savoring offerings and cheese boards will land on the menu. On the bar side of things, Masson will provide beer and cocktail pairings alongiside baked goods.
