Crisp Brings Pizza & Cocktails to The Woodlands on Monday

The second Crisp location, complete with booze.

The Woodlands residents often complain about a dearth of good restaurants, so they'll welcome the news that Crisp has announced an official opening date of April 20 for its new outpost on Research Forest Drive. This makes the second location for the popular 'Wine Bar Eatery,' which opened in The Heights at the end of 2012. According to GM Dave Dobbins, they'll offer daily lunch and dinner. In a few weeks, brunch service will roll out on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The menu at the new location, overseen by chef/partner Jared M. Estes, will include the mini-chain’s signature dishes like scallop crudo, parmesan meatballs XL — XL because they weigh in at half a pound each — and D-B-G Greens, sporting a duck leg and Dr. Pepper beets. Unlike its Heights sister, this Crisp will have a full liquor license. So get ready for cocktails, to boot.
