Mexican Steakhouse La Casa del Caballo shut its doors back in December, being the third restaurant in the 300 seat, two-story space to close. However, fans of its famous enchiladas and four-pound tapa de lomo ribeye cap need not worry — the team is returning with a new address and a new name, Saltillo. Owner Carlos Abedrop will focus on Mexican cuisine at the new Bellaire location (5427 Bissonnet) and plans are in the works to open by the end of May. Abedrop sees this move as a win-win situation, "We thought we could use a smaller building than what we have, and they wanted a bigger building."

Taking over the Montrose space is the group behind El Tiempo Cantina. The menu, the same as the other six El Tiempo branches in Houston, offers fancy Tex-Mex cuisine but in a new revamped space. Look inside right here.
