DOWNTOWN—El Big Bad is going all out for Cinco de Mayo with a street festival this Saturday starting at 11 a.m. Expect crawfish, liquid nitrogen margaritas, fire breathers, contortionists, and more; best of all, it's free and there will be food and drink specials all day. [El Big Bad/Facebook]

DOWNTOWN—The Houston Food Truck Fest goes down this Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. at Stereo Live. Expect live music, mimes (really), a magician, movies on a giant screen, a bounce house, and more adult activities (e.g., beer and drink specials all day). 20 trucks will be in attendance including Casian King, Fat Wagon, The Pickled Pig, Pho-jita Fusion, and more. Tickets are $18 or $5 for kids 6 through 12 (free for under 6).
